Lovespirals Insignificant

We finally made some time to get back to the special place that inspired our final recording and production sessions for Future Past. This is a video of just one of the magnificent sunsets we witnessed while camping on the rugged back side of Catalina Island. Just like our video for “Home,” it was shot on a Flip MinoHD Video Camera and edited in Final Cut Express to add the music and titles. We actually did listen to Future Past on the 3rd night, which was a really powerful experience. It was so cool to hear the music in the place that inspired it, playing out loud in that majestic, surreal beauty. By the way, we were listening on an Apple iPad using iHome iHM60 Rechargeable Mini Speakers, which turned out to be really cool for camping. We used the same setup to play movies in our tent after dark. I’m sure we’ll tell you all about that on our next Chillin’ with Lovespirals podcast! I have to say that this video doesn’t even begin to do justice to the breathtaking view up on this ridge, but it does give you some idea. Enjoy!
